Using Wightlink ferries, you can get to the Isle of Wight in no time – even better, if you are an animal lover you are in for a treat by visiting The Donkey Sanctuary. With ferries from Portsmouth that will get you to Ryde in 10 minutes, you can visit The Sanctuary with just a 25 minute drive from the port. Open all year round from 10:00am till 4:30pm, you can stroke, pet and fuss over the donkeys and ponies with no booking.
